The Funhouse [Tobe Hooper] [1981]

Sinopse: Tobe Hooper dirige esse clássico do horror trash, numa época em que o terror adolescente ainda era uma novidade. Quatro jovens entram num parque de diversões e são perseguidos por um assassino desfigurado. Criador de clássicos como O Massacre da Serra Elétrica (The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, 1974) e Poltergeist - O Fenômeno (Poltergeist, 1982), o diretor Tobe Hooper também foi responsável por uma pequena produção realizada em 1981, que não virou referência, não marcou época e nem alcançou sucesso nas bilheterias. Recebendo no Brasil o título de Pague Para Entrar, Reze Para Sair (The Funhouse), o filme pode não ter feito história como os grandes sucessos de Hooper, mas é lembrado até hoje pelo público por contar uma história simples e interessante que é a cara dos anos 80, além de utilizar como cenário um parque de diversões. Desenvolvendo essa idéia, Hooper mostra como diferente e aterrador pode se tornar um local que passa a ser conhecido a partir de quando as luzes são apagadas.

Zombie Holocaust [Marino Girolami] [1980]

Também conhecido como Zombie 3 e Doctor Butcher, M.D.; The film starts off in New York, where a hospital worker is found to have been devouring bodies in the morgue. It turns out that he was originally a native of one of the Asian Molucca islands, and similar corpse mutilations have occurred in other city hospitals, where immigrants from this region are also working. Led by Dr. Peter Chandler (Ian McCulloch), an expedition is organized to the islands to find out the reason behind the terrible happenings. However, on the Moluccas (East Indies) the crew are soon hunted by cannibals and zombies, the latter being created by the sinister Doctor O'Brien who is experimenting with corpses. Lori (Alexandra Delli Colli), an attractive lady in the expedition team, is accepted as queen of the cannibals, and sends them off against the mad scientist and his zombie army.
